In recent years, interior design has become a popular subject for television shows. In the UK for example programs such as 60 Minute Makeover and Changing Rooms are hits. More often than not, famous designers are called on to the show to showcase these designers prowess in interior design. In the US, there are many interior design programs that have become rather popular among those who have a penchant for watching home makeovers like HGTV Start at Home, The Remodeling Show 2011, even Consumer Reports is rating remodeling appliances for home owners.
